The first Lady Mustang varsity volleyball team took to the court in 2002 under the direction of Denison Sager. This will be the 16th season of playing the game of bump-set-spike, and will be coached this season by Coach Krista Frishman, the first volleyball alumn to serve as head coach.
The team has been one of the top four teams at tournament for much of it's recent history. They played in the MAUC Championship game in the 2007, 2008, and 2015 seasons, bringing home the first place trophy in 2007.

Krista Frishman - Ms.Frishman takes over this year as the new coach of the Lady Mustangs. She played for the Mustangs during the 2013-2016 seasons, and is excited to take a seat at the coach's station this season. She becomes the first alumni of Midland's volleyball program to serve as head coach.
