"Developing passionate followers of Christ who love God and serve people."
The end of this school year is rapidly approaching - one month from today we will be in the middle of Graduation Week and recognizing all our fine students and their hard work during this school year.
We'd also like to welcome Union College as they will be visiting with our Juniors this week to discuss college preparation.
Have a great week, summer vacation is coming quicker than you might expect.
Our Core Value for April is "Thankful" and to help celebrate that, we want to recognize two of our support staff this week.
Tuesday is National School Bus Driver Appreciation Day, and a big thanks to Mr. Brazeal for taking us on field trips and to sports events. You always keep us safe, through traffic, road construction and all sorts of obstacles. We appreciate you!
On Wednesday, we celebrate Mrs. Fairchild on Administrative Professionals Day. Not only does she keep the office running smoothly, she applies needed band-aids, offers snacks for forgotten lunches, and keeps the fridge stocked with Dr. Pepper. We appreciate you!
Two of our A&P students, along with Mr. Borne, had an incredible learning opportunity last week as they visited AdventHealth Shawnee Mission to observe three live surgeries. They got an up-close look at a breast biopsy, an appendectomy, and a laminectomy. Such experiences are invaluable for our students, giving them real-world insights into medical procedures and careers in healthcare.
Midland's Music Department has several concerts coming up that you'll want to put on your calendar. Here's a list for your convenience. Come and support our musically talented students!
All programs are at Midland and will begin at 6:00 p.m.
When Friday comes it’s lots of fun, it's almost Saturday. There's lots of tests and arts and crafts, I can't wait for the next school day! We get to read and write, and color with our friends. We have the best time ever until the school day ends.
